What is a root and unroot android?
Similarly, linux operating system, Android is the root in granting full permissions to the user to enter the android system, so by using the root access, user can add, subtract and modify files that are in the android system.

If in the windows operating system, root is giving administrator rights to users. If we let android it is a house without root privileges so we can only go up to the living room, but with root privileges we are allowed to enter the house for the whole start of bedrooms, bathrooms, maid's room and other rooms and also we can use all the facilities in house.

Well if unroot it is the opposite of the root, which returns the user full access rights android become the standard permissions so that users can no longer enter into the android system as a whole. if in the windows operating system are returned to the user Guest or Standard User.

Android Applications

Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google. The Android operating system (OS) is based on the open Linux kernel. Unlike the IPhone OS, Android isopen source, meaning developers can modify and customize the OS for each phone. Developers can create programs for Android using the free Android SDK (Software Developer Kit). Users can download Android "apps" from the online Android Market.
Since several manufacturers make Android-based phones, it is not always easy to tell if a phone is running the Android operating system.
